We are so proud to celebrate Harper Bradshaw, a longtime ForKids volunteer and partner, who was recently named a News 3 Everyday Hero!

For more than a decade, Harper, the owner and award-winning chef of Harper’s Table in Suffolk, Virginia, has generously shared his talent and heart with children and teens in our Birdsong Center afterschool programs. Harper and his team provide chef-prepared meals, teach cooking classes, and show up week after week to make sure kids feel cared for and nourished.

“This recognition is such a well-deserved spotlight on someone who quietly makes a big difference for our families,” said Sarah Carr, ForKids Major Gift Officer.

We are incredibly grateful to Harper for his continued commitment to ForKids, and to News 3 for sharing his story and lifting up the power of community partnerships.
